Hello everybody.
So, yes. Hectic and could be said struggle year. First post for this year.
Intern time.
'Farhana, stay strong. Intern is a cheap labor'
'Intern lah untuk perah tenaga'
'Intern will be assigned to do here and there but still can gain experience'
Yes. Those words I have heard from lecturers to seniors.
Yes. I could define that intern is not as good like I have been imagined all this while.
Not much to share bcs everything that I have experienced is a life journey, life struggle. You will never gain anything if you stay in your comfort zone.
Once, back in the college I was pampered with lecturers, friends, seniors and staffs. All of them were too kind even there is sometimes they are mean, but they are not 'testing' me out of the range.
In the meanwhile, internship brings me a lot of opportunity to keep patience. To struggle to show them that I could do something better. To serve them something that they could be used after my intern period.
Sometimes, during the midst of hardship, I just forgot to be who I am. I keep pretending and I think its good for certain situations as I need to follow instructions and not instructing people. During college time, I was used to be a leader that guide everyone to the light. But then, this time I laid back and follow everything that has been instructed. Even this is sounds good, but everything has their pros and cons
I could said, that intern is quite suffering for me as I have been assigned so many tasks at one time. I have to go there and there to do something that is not what I have been learnt throughout the three years in college. I need to communicate with people that obviously not something into my favorites.
But, and but. I learn so many things during this hard times. For something that you don't like, and have been forced to do, you need courage to face the situations. You need motivations and this is the time that you will be cried, you will be in a mental breakdown. But, remember this. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
One thing that I have always remind myself, stay positive. Bcs people that has clear mind only can move the negativity out from its body.
